Collective Machine trenutno jedan od najaktivnijih i najproduktivnijih DJ-eva i producenata iz Mađarske ponovo će biti gost Urban Bug stejdža na Exitu. On će za dekove Urban Buga stati u petak tačno u ponoć, a mi smo iskoristili priliku da vidimo šta ima novo kod njega od kada je poslednji put bio naš gost.

Ćao Collective Machine, kako si, šta ima novo kod tebe?
Hej! Kod mene je sve super. Uzbuđen sam zbog svih gigova ovog leta jer moja letnja sezona počinje upravo ove nedelje.
Mi zapravo nikada nismo čuli tvoju muzičku priču, možeš li nam reći kako si ušao u svet elektronske muzike i počeo da se baviš DJ-ingom?
To je duga priča, ali oduvek sam bio zainteresovan za muziku. Počeo sam da puštam muziku u kafićima, pabovima i barovima jednog malo grada i to mi je bilo izuzetno zanimljivo zbog celokupnog osećaja od organizacije do same žurke. Kasnije sam počeo da puštam u manjim klubovima i tako je počelo. Sada se osećam srećnim zbog toga što je moj posao da puštam muziku na događajima širom sveta.
Koji su najznačajniji momenti u tvojoj karijeri?
Ima ih puno, ako gledam sa producentske strane onda je to definitivno izdavanje traka za jedan od najvećih i meni omiljenih lejblova kao što su 8bit i Bedrock ili kada moj rad dospe na vinile i mikseve kao što su DJ-Kicks – to su sve veliki koraci. A kao DJ-u, kada sam osvojio Burn residency u svojoj zemlji i stigao do glavnog finala koje sam izgubio, ali i kada sam puštao sa Carlom Coxom – to je takođe bio super momenat. Svaki gig i svaka žurka mogu biti veliki momenat.
Kako bi opisao svoje DJ setove? Šta je tvoj cilj jednom kada staneš iza dekova i vidiš sve one ljude ispred tebe?
Želim sa publikom da podelim deo mene i uvek sam željan da sa njima podelim svežu muziku, u zavisnosti od toga šta situacija zahteva, mogu da puštam tvrđi tehno ili deep. Uvek pustim da me ponese kontakt sa publikom da bih odredio ritam.
Tvoja muzika našla se na nekoliko velikih etiketa, a i sva velika imena u industriju su puštala tvoju muziku. Koliko ti to znači?
To znači da sam na dobrom putu. Uvek sam vrlo srećan kada vidim da je neko podržao moj rad, radim vrlo vredno i znam da treba da nastavim, zato što svet i scena ne staju ni na momenat.
Reci nam nešto više o svom novom EP-ju Ritual?
Mogu reći da je veoma uspešno izdanje, to je moje četvrto izdanje na 8bit. Nekoliko nedejla je bio na top listama I mnogi dobri Dj-evi su podržali trake koje su se našle na njemu, a među njima su Hot Since 82, Sasha, Markus Homm, Nick Curly, Leon, Maya, Jane Coles, NTFO, Paco Osuna, Los Suruba, Oliver Schories, Pan Pot, Tim Green, Nick Warren, Pan Pot, Sasch BBC, Mihai Popoviciu, Luna City Express, Andre Butano, Paul C, Cuartero, Mar -T, Danny Serrano, Mathias Kaden, Luca Donzelli, Helmut Dubnitzky i mnogi drugi. Nadam se uskoro i novom, jednako uspešnom izdanju na 8bit.
A kada je reč o produkciji, šta te inspiriše?
To je svakodnevna rutina. Ali glavna inspiracija je nešto novo, nešto magično, nešto što možeš da pamtiš nakon žurke. Radim na trakama već 10-11 godina, tako da je ključ moje proudkcije da to što zamislim to mogu i da napravim. To je veoma teško.
Vraćaš se na Urban Bug Stage na Exitu, kakve uspomene nosiš sa prethodnog nastupa?
Prošlog puta je bilo fantastično, publika je super, uzbuđen sam da ponovo nastupim na vašem stejdžu i sa publikom podelim neke nove zvuke.
Imaš li neku poruku za publiku na Exitu?
Vidimo se na podijumu!
Šta te čeka nakon Exita? Kakvi su tvoji planovi?
Srećom moje leto je zauzeto, iste ove nedelje puštaću na najboljem događaju u Mađarskoj. Takođe, čeka me rad u studiju, a do septembra me čekaju još 13 velikih gigova. Neće mi biti dosadno.

COLLECTIVE MACHINE: I AM EXCITED TO PLAY AGAIN AT URBAN BUG STAGE, SEE YOU ON THE DANCE FLOOR
Collective Machine is currently one of the most active and most productive DJs and producers from Hungary, and once again he will be guest at the Urban Bug stage at Exit festiva. He will stand behind the decks of Urban Bug at Friday in midnight, and we took the chance to ask him couple of questions and see what's new in his life since the last time he was here.
Hi Collective Machine, how are you, what’s up?
Hey! All good here. Excited about the summer gigs because the real summer season just starts on this week.
We never got the chance to hear your story, can you tell us how you got into electronic music and started DJ-ing?
It’s a long story, but I've always been interested in music. I started to play in a small town in coffee shops, pubs and bars and it entrained me very much because this is a whole feeling from the organization till the party. Later I started to play in smaller clubs too and so on. Now I’m feeling lucky because I love my job make music playing in super events around the world.
What are some of the biggest moments in your career?
I have a lot, in producer side of the story, I think the releases on the biggest favorite labels like 8bit, Bedrock or when your work comes out on vinyl or mixes like DJ-Kicks all super big steps. As a DJ also so hard, when I won the Burn Residency in my country and little by little lose the main finale or when I played in the same line up with Carl Cox was super moments. But every gig and every party can be a big moment.
How would you describe your DJ sets? What is your goal once you stand behind the decks and see all those people in front of you?
I would like to share a part of my mind and always strive for share the freshest music with the people, but if the situation so requires, I can play more harder or more deep, I‘m always looking the contact for the best timing.
Music that you produce can be found on various world known labels, also, almost every big name in the industry has played your music. How much that means to you?
It means I’m on a good way. I’m still happy when I see or found a great support and I'm working very hard and I know I need to continue because the world and the scene does no stop for a second.
Tell us something about your latest EP Ritual?
I can say it was a successful release, it was my fourth release on 8bit. It was a several weeks on the top lists and many good DJ’s supported it like Hot Since 82, Sasha, Markus Homm, Nick Curly, Leon, Maya Jane Coles, NTFO, Paco Osuna, Los Suruba, Oliver Schories, Pan Pot, Tim Green, Nick Warren, Pan Pot, Sasch BBC, Mihai Popoviciu, Luna City Express, Andre Butano, Paul C, Cuartero, Mar -T, Danny Serrano, Mathias Kaden, Luca Donzelli, Helmut Dubnitzky and many others… I hope soon I come back with the same EP to 8bit.
When we are talking about production, what inspires you?
This is an everyday routine. But the main inspiration is something new, something magic, something u can remember after the party. I’m working on tracks since 10-11 years so maybe what is the key of my productions how what I imagine I can do. I think this is so hard in production.
You are coming back to Urban Bug Stage at Exit Festival, can you tell us what were your impressions last time when you played?
Last time was amazing, the crowd is just awesome here, so I’m so excited to playing again and show some fresh tunes.

What’s waiting for your after Exit? What are your plans?
Fortunately my summer is busy, in the same week I play one of the best events in Hungary on Saturday. Of course, I do some studio session and other 13 gigs I have till September so I will not be bored.
